Why so much hate?

Why are you so evil, people! I'm particulary speaking to some Singaporeans, who are going nuts these past 2 days! When do you get enough hate? Do you enjoy being vicious and hateful? Does it turn you on? I just hope that when this spills over to the mainstream media, you will still publicly stand behind your racist and hateful remarks. You're a disgrace for the beautiful state of Singapore!

種何因,得何果!

I never thought a comment on a person's hair would spawn this kind of disaster. For those who made those derogatory comments but didnt actually know what happened, I understand that they are entitled to their opinion.

They have called me so many names, maid, ugly, low class filipino, poor. All to that effect.

For starters, I only commented about her blogsite because she called me ugly. This was after she got annoyed on a blog my husband wrote about the color of her hair. She had nothing bad to say about him so she dragged me into it. Naturally, I reacted.

This was 2MONTHS AGO. It took her 2 months to gather all my unflattering photos on myspace and upload it on her site and make a mockery out of it. 2 months is a long time to keep all that anger to yourself and then lash out on someone afterwards. Using whatever information she can get as ammunition to brand us as losers.

I cant imagine that someone would harbor so much hatred in that span of time. I have never encountered in my life very hateful and racist comments. They have ridiculed me from my looks, my living condition, my work and my financial standing and ultimately my race.. Yes I am poor but Im not ashamed of it. I work hard to support the people I love and its not something Im embarrassed to say or do. sure i live in a rented apartment and i have an income just enough to cover the bills. i may not be a beauty queen but im certainly not ugly.

People are basing it all on those selected photos that i have voluntarily uploaded on myspace (and yet uploaded by that woman without myconsent), i will not contest that im not a looker by these people standards.

I am not devoid of feelings. I was hurt with all those racist comments and snide remarks. So much cruelty from a beautiful country.

Just the same, I hope they would stop bashing Filipinos and maids altogether.

I hope they would leave my husband's parents out of this.

If they want to attack me, they can continue doing so. I just hope they leave innocent people out of it.

People saw the events in her eyes but they dont know all the truth to it.

For those of you out there who dont know the real story but wish to judge me, go ahead.
Criticize me. If that will make you feel better about yourself then good for you. If it will make a difference in your life, then spit it out. If you find mocking me cathartic, then spill all the hate.

This experience should change my notion about Singaporeans but it wont. Ive met some wonderful Singaporeans and I am proud to work and live in this country.

As for you haters out there, dont you have anything better to do than keep track of this brouhaha?
