The Meaning of Life series
Yesterday just before falling asleep, I was thinking about some new ideas for my blog. I got the idea to do something interactive and in many languages. Since I know people from all over the world who speak various languages, I thought why not ask them one question and let them answer in a blog post and in their own language. I was wondering what that question could be? It had to be something universal, something that connects all of us as humans. And I finally came to this question: What is the meaning of life for you? Just tell me what comes to mind when I ask you that question. It is not simple to answer. It takes time and a bit of thinking. It should be something around 5 sentences. I sent this request to various people and I hope they will respond and write their answers in their native languages. In the end, I will write about the meaning of life in my own native language Slovenian. If you read this post and you want to participate, feel free to tell me. If the language you speak, is not yet covered, you will be free to represent your language. Let's see what's the meaning of life for you.[Photo: Source]

Sounds interesting.
Just something to note. Below each foreign language there should be an English translation so everyone can understand. The idea of having it written in the native language originally though is very interesting.

Yes, yes... I wish people also translate it in English so that we understand. I will probably have it in Thai, Tagalog, Chinese, Korean, maybe Japanese, English, German, Slovene... and shall see, maybe some more :) Hey, you can write something in English and I'll post it. I won't represent English, I'll write in Slovenian. And as I say, should be brief, the most important things that come to mind, about 5 sentences, more or less, should be ok.

That is an awesome idea. :)
Can Filipino/Tagalog be involved? :D
Though, I kinda suck at my native tongue which is weird but I would love to participate.

Yea, sure Rica, I'd be glad if you do that. I already asked Brad F.'s wife to do it, but you can do as well. I can put more of them up here :)

@Vincent: Is that good or bad? :P

Good of course. My prejudices are more subtle than that. But you have a strong link to the Far East, I think. (I have too.)

@Vincent: Glad to hear that :) Yes, I feel connected to East and Southeast Asia somehow... It just happened 5 years ago. Before I have never even imagined to be interested in this part of the world.
